Join us for a special event on how to care for your houseplants! Marianne from The Boro’s Floral Boutique in Moultonborough will share the best size pots for certain plants, the different types of moss poles and other support for climbing plants, how much water to provide in the winter vs. in the summer, and identifying root rot and fungal infections in plants. There will be visuals of and best practices for using LECA, perlite, soil, orchid bark, lava rock, sphagnum moss, peat moss, zeolite, cocoa coir, and pumice.
At this event, the library will launch its houseplant clipping swap. If you have one to share, bring a clipping to swap! Marianne will share tips on propagating houseplants.
