DETAILS
Join us for a presentation by local author MJ Pettengill on what life was like for those living in Carroll County during the 1870s. This was a time of profound social and economic change in America—a time for expansion, discovery, and healing. Pettengill’s presentation is based on the research she conducted for her most recent book release, The Crows’ Path, a significant addition to the Etched in Granite Series. This series of books provides a unique window into the lives of the inmates, workers, and individuals connected to the nineteenth-century Carroll County Farm, textile mills, orphan trains, Irish Famine, and more.
For more information about the author and her books, visit her website: https://www.mjpettengill.com. Read more about this presentation and The Crows’ Path here.
This presentation is made possible with generous funding from the Friends of the Moultonborough Public Library.
