We invite caregivers (and anyone else in need of time to recharge) to spend an evening tapping into their creative side.
About the Event
In acknowledgment of family caregivers, a hugely important community resource when it comes to helping loved ones age in place at home, AARP New Hampshire is hosting a virtual paint class with Paint and Sip VT on April 10 at 6 pm. Anyone else in need of a break is welcome to join the fun, too!
Grab your favorite beverage, get your creative juices flowing, and follow step-by-step guidance from our instructor as you try your hand at painting Poppies. As you create your masterpiece with step-by-step instructor-led guidance, AARP NH will provide a brief presentation about available caregiving resources.
Supplies:
A canvas, canvas board, or acrylic paper (recommend 9″x 12″ or 11″ x 14″ but any size works).
Easel (optional)
Acrylic paints: red, blue, yellow, white and black; green is optional (we will also blend it in class
3-5 brushes, from large to fine-detail sizes
Pencil for composition sketching
A cup of water to rinse brushes
Small plate to mix colors
Paper towels
How to Join
Please note that you must be signed in to your AARP.org account or create an account to register for events. AARP membership is not required. You will be emailed a link to join the class via Zoom prior to the event.
