The Art and Artists of Lucknow: A Castle in the Clouds Presentation

Join Castle in the Clouds Curator Robin Sherman for an intimate exploration of the artwork that has graced the historic Lucknow Mansion—from the time of Thomas and Olive Plant to today. Uncover which pieces are original to the Plants’ collection and which have been thoughtfully acquired in recent years. Learn about the artists behind these works and discover how the Castle team carefully curates and expands the collection to preserve the mansion’s rich artistic legacy.
About the presenter:
Robin Sherman is the Curator & Director of Preservation for Castle in the Clouds. In addition to overseeing the Castle’s historic collections and ongoing restoration, Robin loves diving into a new research project. Robin earned her M.A. in Public History and Museum Studies from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2016. The same year, she began working at the Castle where she enjoys sharing the property’s long history with visitors.
