Tai Chi for Balance and Strength directly addresses one of the biggest health issues we face as we age: falls. According to the Centers of Disease Control:
More than one out of four older adults falls each year. These classes take your body through ranges of motion not regularly used, tax it through strength and balance challenges not regularly visited, and address issues of awareness that can help us to avoid falls. In essence, we’re training our bodies to move in ways that can help us to avoid injury.
